When I described the way L.A. Mayor Antonio Villariagosa's $8 Billion affordable housing scheme was going to be implemented to someone, they immediately shot back, "That's called 'Socialism.'" O.K., so maybe that's what it is? But this is a free market society. And who is to say that the government is not allowed to enter the free market (with the use of Federal money) to turn the City of Los Angeles into the next "Donald Trump." So yeah, LA City is about to get into the housing industry, like any private corporation can. Oh yeah, the city isn't a private corporation. But hey, forget about that...here's the rundown of how this $8 Billion excuse to spend money and reward is short list of preferred contractors again.
But you know what...everyone knows ZD is tired and burnt out...so this is all I can do for now...so consider it a tease for the story that I will finish when I can. (Sorry y'all.) MORE TO COME

Does New 1% City of L.A. Sales Tax Starts October 1st!
Is this true? I think it's been covered, but I can't keep it all straight. But I think a new 1% sales tax kicks in tomorrow for LA City. Someone contacted ZD who operates a business in the City of Los Angeles:
"Zuma, (My business) received the tax info for the next 3 months. business On October 1, 2008 the sales tax for City of Los Angeles will go up 1%, from 8.25% to 9.25%."
This doesn't count for anything else like all the other proposed hikes on the ballot.
So now, you have one more reason to do everything outside LA City, and in other places in the county.
NEXT: Oh no...ZD heard some not too cool stuff regarding Oscar's Charter Schools. Is this gonna be Semilla Part 2? After what I heard, I can't believe Steve Barr could be involved. Bailout Package Rejected: It's now the beginning of the end
Wow, Zuma Dogg started covering this story on May 4, 2007 when I blogged that "subprime" loans would trigger a recession with the effects to be felt as early as six months. Well, yes, in January the stock market opened to it's worse opening in decades.
Late last year, ZD started to predict that the banks would be collapsing (they did) and that the low dollar, would trigger higher oil prices, which would trigger inflation -- and the stock market would be at the 10,500 level in October. ALL OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS AT THE TIME!
Well here it all is, right on cue as if this whole scenario were predicted. And I have to credit Jose Aguilar for being the mastermind mentor behind ZD's global economic predictions.
On Friday, on the heels of the bailout package being approved, McCain said, "It's the end of the beginning." Well now, my friends, with the bailout package just REJECTED by the House...
"It's the beginning of the end."
It's much worse than you think. Looks like ZD prediction of all hell breaking loose on the streets and the National Guard having to step in is right on target, as well.
CAN YOU SAY, "PINK SLIP CITY?" Jose Aguilar just coined the phrase, "Pink Slip City" and wanted to make sure I included it in this post. He's been right all along...and ZD has been trying to warn the masses on radio, blogs and City TV 35. At this point, I think everyone reading this blog is aware of the predictions...BUT AS USUAL, AS IT HAS BEEN ALL ALONG...
NOW, is the time all of ZD's predicitons (based on people like Deming and Aguilar) will all start to be wrong. I remember in November, when I called an old high school friend, who I knew was HEAVILY invested in the stock market about all that I have learned. EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, he admitted I had been right before, but now my predictions have gone too far, and it's not as bad as it was in the 80's. Well, NOW he is about to finally be right. (It's gonna be much worse.) This is a fundamental shift that has been in the works since the 1990's with the advent of internet and techonology and leveling the playing field. And now it will take a decade, or more to "adjust" and the main problem is, too many people are still in denial.
And to those of you who kept saying, "It's gonna turn around" and "They'll bail it out" and "(fill in the blank) will never happen...WELP, now that Wall Street and U.S. Government told the whole world how it was, "JUST DO IT, OR ELSE"...welp, they "JUST DIDN'T DO IT" --

Is This Why Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraiogsa Is Speaking Out AGAINST United States Government's Baliout Plan To Save U.S. & World Economy?

(left to right).Here's why Zuma Dogg feels Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraiogsa is speaking out against the United States Government's financial bailout plan. At this point, even the opponents of the behavior that got us into this mess agree, without this bailout, not only will the U.S. economy fall flat on it's back, but the entire world will fall flat on it's face.
So why was Los Angeles Mayor Anotnio Villaraigosa using time to get out there in the media to openly criticize the U.S. Federal Government for taking this action?
First, you have to operate under the assumption that the guy's here for one reason and one reason only...accomoadate as many people moving here from Mexico and make sure you get them all the entitlement money; and things like sub-prime rates so "all people can live the American middle class homeownership dream"; and keep the construction projects moving forward so th jobs continue; so they can all be in homes; and it will all create a bigger voting base for Villar and the other crew of California politicians in the City Council, Assembly and Senate who are on this same mission, too.
AND VILLARAIOGSA KNOWS WHAT IS NEXT: This $7,000,000,000 bail-out means it's OVER for all this entitlement money and subprimes and easy credit for all and all the "smoke and mirrors (Richard AlacrCON/LA City Council) legislation that got us into this mess.
So they will have to sit there in the media and send the "wink-wink" to the people they are here to represent, that they are kicking and screaming and bismirtching (shaming) the United States Federal Government into keeping the party going and keep the plan to accomplish the goal that all the enforcement in the world cannot prevent, because it is being done through legislation and with the help of Washington, until it is EVEN OBVIOUS TO HIS/THEIR VOTING BASE THAT THE PLUG IS PULLED ON THE WHOLE PLAN, FOR NOW. (Yeah, it's a major setback, but the entire planet is suffering a setback.)
Viallaraigosaand those in the movement like to say, "for all people" instead of "for all U.S. citizens." Well now, the party is truly over, "for all people" from the richest of rich to the poorest of poor.
He won't stop speaking this way until the game is "officially over" and the checks actually stop being sent out. That way he won't offend his constituents. But in the meantime, he's sounding like a spoiled-brat, treasonist...so I hope some of his financial backers who put this sociopath in office call him up and tell him to keep his mouth shut before he causes riots in the streets! It's bad enough he's the kingpin behind this economic downturn that backfired so big...the whole country and world is feeling the shock wave. TELL HIM TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT! I BET IF YOU PUT IT ON THE BALLOT MORE PEOPLE VOTE VOTE TO PUT HIM IN JAIL THAN RE-ELECT HIM AS MAYOR. (As long as when you say "people" and "vote" you mean "citizens" and not "all people". (See "Voter Fraud.")
Why The Bail-out Will Not Work, But We Need To Do It Anyway -- AND VILLARAIOGSA MUST BE STOPPED BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!! (It's too late!)
The situation the U.S. economy is in, mirrors the exact kind of situation Zuma Dogg is in. It's been a slow evolution that takes place over time, until you wake up, one day, with a real crisis on your hands.
I'll use my own example, then apply it to the U.S. situation:
When I first moved to L.A., I was high on the hog, with money coming in from the radio industry and I was living in Malibu (guest house, but $800-$900 a month back in 1990's). I was able to easily eat at a nice restaurant twice a day -- and not even really notice it in my checking account. Concert tickets...the price of admission was never a barrier to entry. And DRIVING...if I had to drive from Malibu to Burbank to pick up a $10 adapter I needed, NO PROBLEM! Plus, everything else. I was never that materialistic, and I was never in the most expensive car or lavish...but I didn't have to worry about any of it.
THEN, thanks to technology, the radio and record industry was able to do more with less people (automation at the same time revenues were way down. So, spending was cut back, everyone was doing five times the work for less money and everyone was dolled out less money by the industry and all non-essentials were cut.
But even though ZD was making WAY less money and eventually NO money...I still had enough savings for a running start (a couple months worth of money) and I was optimistic that something would "pop" because I was basing things on how they always had been in the past (ZD always getting hired into a bigger and better gig). So, I didn't stop driving all over the place, or stop going to the fancy restaurants...that was part of my identity. And people have "pride" and tend to like to keep up a good front, so people think everything is o.k.
But eventually, it was time to move to a smaller place...fast food restaurants instead of fancy ones...and walking around in such a "downscale state", there were making no bones about the fact that my economic state was in the toilet.
But I was still carrying on. THEN, it got even worse, and now I'm living in my car and don't have enough money for nutrition and gas at the same time. BUT I'M STILL OPTIMISTIC.
However, SOME DAYS it is so bad, that ZD needs a financial bailout, too. And that's when some supporters will paypal a donation.
SOME PEOPLE SAY, "Gee ZD, $20 bucks ain't gonna change your life or be enough." And some will add, "Gee, you never should have run yourself down into such a precarious situation that now requires emergency action." Because again, there are obviously reason of my own fault why I got myself into this mess. And there was a paypal crisis last week...and you can't keep carrying on $20 (or even the rare $100) at a time.
TRUE!...SO WHAT?
Yeah, of course a lot of my economic problems are my fault, even though I feel any other "shred" of potential luck has gone the other way, too. So ZD made the transition from living in a room to living in a car and has gone from fancy food to no food and from driving all over the place to planned, methodical trips. And I say the U.S. will be going though a similar downgrading.
But, like ZD, it will be forced to carry on each day under these miserable circumstances. And at least on Friday I was on KNBC 11 O'Clock news. And maybe something will pop today, or in the near future and I will be able to start to rebuild my life. MEANWHILE. thanks to these series of "not enough" paypal donations...I was able to attend every council meeting over the past five months, or so. AND was able to at least blog up a storm, as well. Plus, all the other stuff which led to ZD being invited to the KNBC News Room for Presidential Debate coverage on the 11 O'Clock news!

IT DID HELP...AND IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO REALLY ALLOW ME TO GET BACK ON MY FEET INTO A ROOM WITH JUST ENOUGH MONEY TO EAT EVERYDAY...
BUT I DOUBT I WOULD BE TYPING THIS NOW, OR MAKING ANY OF THE SMALL STEPS I AM TRYING TO TAKE WITHOUT THESE EMERGENCY BAILOUTS THAT WERE NOT ENOUGH.
So all we can do, is give 'em the bailout and hope it give the U.S. government enough of a jumpstart to pick theyselves off the ground and carry on.
They can't afford the fancy restaurants, umlimited driving trips, concert tickets and all the amenities ZD was used to during his "heyday" -- and hopefully the U.S. government will have the discipline and responsibility to make the systematic changes we have been hearing about (no golden parachutes, more good, less bad)...
But I am very pessimistic that they U.S. government will be able to take the measures needed on their own -- and that's when "free market forces" kick in (as I call it) and that's when the United States of America starts to downgrade their lifestyle the way ZD did, while they stay optimistic and try to move ahead.
Of course the U.S. Government didn't tell you how bad things were until it was absolutely a crisis. They have too much optimism, but even worse, too much pride. So free market forces will take care of the greed. Cause unfortunatley, just as ZD cannot break out of his "institutional beauracracy" (can't wake up and turn "left" instead of "right"/can't do anything besides what I have been doing these past two and a half years as an activist/blogger)...so eventually, unless I change my ways, soon...it's really gonna collapse and I won't be doing ANY of this as market forces take over. AND I don't think the U.S. government will be able to change their "institutional beauracracy"/change their patterns. So although the U.S. government should be able to do a better job with things than ZD is doing in his personal life...THEY WON'T! And you KNOW that! So hello to market forces taking over and an overall U.S. downgrade and eventual complete bottoming out as the rich people in the U.S. bug out to Dubai.
Villaraiogsa is gonna learn this the hard way. Unfortunately, you will be left with the crisis.
ZUMA DOGG PREDICTS SOME VERY BAD QUANTUM PHYSICS PATTERNS FOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA. It might only be that he goes down in history for something known as "the worst in U.S. history" and we will see that is because he couldn't care less about the U.S.

IT DID HELP...AND IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO REALLY ALLOW ME TO GET BACK ON MY FEET INTO A ROOM WITH JUST ENOUGH MONEY TO EAT EVERYDAY...
BUT I DOUBT I WOULD BE TYPING THIS NOW, OR MAKING ANY OF THE SMALL STEPS I AM TRYING TO TAKE WITHOUT THESE EMERGENCY BAILOUTS THAT WERE NOT ENOUGH.
So all we can do, is give 'em the bailout and hope it give the U.S. government enough of a jumpstart to pick theyselves off the ground and carry on.
They can't afford the fancy restaurants, umlimited driving trips, concert tickets and all the amenities ZD was used to during his "heyday" -- and hopefully the U.S. government will have the discipline and responsibility to make the systematic changes we have been hearing about (no golden parachutes, more good, less bad)...
But I am very pessimistic that they U.S. government will be able to take the measures needed on their own -- and that's when "free market forces" kick in (as I call it) and that's when the United States of America starts to downgrade their lifestyle the way ZD did, while they stay optimistic and try to move ahead.
Of course the U.S. Government didn't tell you how bad things were until it was absolutely a crisis. They have too much optimism, but even worse, too much pride. So free market forces will take care of the greed. Cause unfortunatley, just as ZD cannot break out of his "institutional beauracracy" (can't wake up and turn "left" instead of "right"/can't do anything besides what I have been doing these past two and a half years as an activist/blogger)...so eventually, unless I change my ways, soon...it's really gonna collapse and I won't be doing ANY of this as market forces take over. AND I don't think the U.S. government will be able to change their "institutional beauracracy"/change their patterns. So although the U.S. government should be able to do a better job with things than ZD is doing in his personal life...THEY WON'T! And you KNOW that! So hello to market forces taking over and an overall U.S. downgrade and eventual complete bottoming out as the rich people in the U.S. bug out to Dubai.
Villaraiogsa is gonna learn this the hard way. Unfortunately, you will be left with the crisis.

Last year at this time, the price of gold was about $825 and ounce. Earlier this year, when the credit crunch first hit, and Bernankie started cutting the interest rates, gold skyrocketed past $1000 an ounce.
Bush and the Feds did a lot of these "stimulus" things to try and keep the stock market propped up through the election. Gold went back down to a low of around $785 earlier this month.
And last week, it was in the $800 range. IF THE WORLD MARKET HAS CONFIDENCE IN THIS BAIL OUT PLAN, GOLD WILL GO DOWN IN PRICE (OR STABILIZE). If the world market DOES NOT have confidence in this plan, GOLD WILL INCREASE IN PRICE as investors look for somewhere to put their money OUTSIDE the stock market.
The insiders know what is up...and if you want to know what the REAL insiders like major financial institutions and governments...WATCH GOLD! If they announce the plan, and gold goes up and is above $900...WATCH OUT!!! (ZD says gold WILL be going up.)

Some people get Time Warner Public Access confused with City TV 35. TV 35 is where you can watch the Council meetings LIVE and on re-broadcast. This is not being affected. Why even HAVE a council meeting if there are not cameras rolling when you hold hours worth of "Dog and Pony Shows" and "Grandstanding and Campaigning" during the agenda items? So they aren't pulling the plug on their PR machine.

QUESTION: ZD is always trying to gauge how many people are aware of him. And since he doesn't have a press agent, he is assigned the duty of "self-promotion" as well. But is this a sign of how deep ZD's recognition level has penetrated into the LA City consciousness, or just a random coincidence? Here's what happened, yesterday morning:
I was at a random store in Woodland Hills looking for an adapter for my cell phone. The manager asks me to write my name and phone number down. I write, "ZD" as the name with the phone number. He looks at the paper and says, "Like, 'Zuma Dogg!?!?!'" and he looks up at the face who handed him the paper. I didn't have on any kind of hat and no glasses...(so after the initial shock, I'm sure) he aksed me, "What's the latest at City Hall?" And he told me he watches me and watches my YouTube videos. So I told him about the new KNBC video and he can't wait to check it out.
SO WAS THAT JUST A COINCIDENCE? Do the sheer initials "ZD" means someone is going to correlate it to "Zuma Dogg". I thought I had anonmyity with just the initials. I'm stoked about the possible level of awareness being way more off the hook than I realized a month ago...but I gotta figure out a way to be able to carry on with it all.

Thank you to KNBC 4 News for inviting Zuma Dogg to the studio to deliver on-camera analysis of the Obama/McCain Presidential Debate, last night. Much more will be posted on the KNBC NEWS RAW site soon. But of course, KNBC management couldn't help but spike their ratings by including a little of the "ratings magnet" (BZD) for their 11 O'Clock Newscast (even though I was only booked for the NEWS RAW segment).
So like Bob Seger, once said, "I used her, she used me, but neither one cared. We were getting our share." So glad ZD could help KNBC get their share, cause Paul Moyer ain't cheap, y'all.
And speaking of Paul, even he had to come over to see what all the excitement was about. So, here's video of one of the most recognizable and beloved TV personalities of all time, along with Paul. Plus, video of the news segment as it aired -- from the Zuma "Mini-Mart" Cam.

I didn't see any reaction from the mayor or councilmembers, because news broadcasts rely on ratings for their success -- and no one cares what you irresponsible, negligent, wasteful, inept, shady, greedy, region-destroying losers inside that corruption and racketeering factory have to say. That's why they called "The Realest, Dough!" They can't afford to be having everyone turn to another channel when you start boring people to death with your arrogant non-speak. (Don't you people inside that racketeering and corruption factory see what is hapening out there? HA!)

After Watching 21 Minutes of Debate, I can see they will never agree...just a lot of bickering. FREE MARKET FORCE WILL BE TAKING OVER
OVERALL IN THE FIRST 19 minutes...it's the same old back and forth attack politics...haven't heard a DAMN thing besides fluff. WE ARE NEVER GOING TO MOVE THIS COUNTRY FORWARD. IT'S GOING DOWN! I can see all we are going to be getting is back and forth debate and hot air. I say the Government is trying to keep the economy propped up, right now, as they have been trying to do all year...
BUT AFTER WATCHING THE FIRST 21 MINUTES...I CAN SEE THAT FREE MARKET WILL BE THE FORCE THAT ADJUSTS THE MARKET. This bailout package is like when people keep giving ZD $20 donations at a time...it's enough to buy another day...but eventually, the transmission is going to slip -- and the bottom falls out.
This is all envitable! People just don't want to face it. This is all due to technology and computers and the global economy and if we are all connected and all part of one global economic melting pot, well then, we will be taking on traits of other countries and they will take on ours. Only problem, we were the gold standard, and they were the low-economic countries...so that means we're going down a little as they go up and we all become one happy global economy family.

Otherwise, they have a film camera here, and they are filming us (about five people) for reaction to the Presidential Debate and it will be on the News Raw website in the new few days.

Once again, like the cliff-hanger at the end of the old Batman TV show...ZD is saved at the end by his #1 supporter -- puts some gas in the Doggmobile -- and is on the way the beautiful downtown Burbank to sit in on KNBC NEWS RAW coverage of the Presidential Debate. (I think is on the KNBC HD channel on Time Warner and regular broadcast TV with digital converter box.)

Things ain't gonna work theyselves out for me, when I am waking up at 4:30am/5:00am sitting in my car, with hunger pains waiting for the rest of the world to wake up. Cause now it's 10 am, and I haven't eaten since early yesterday...and I'm looking for a park somewhere to take a nap. I really can't imagine how I'll be at KNBC studios in Burbank, this evening, for their NEWS RAW BLOG coverage I was going to sit in for. I'm already burnt out for the day.
AND MY CELL PHONE IS OUT...SO IF YOU ARE NOT HEARING FROM ME, IT'S CAUSE MY CELL PHONE IS OUT. I AM IN BIG TROUBLE FOLKS WITH NO GAS, FOOD...BUT AT LEAST I HAD MY CELL PHONE TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH PEOPLE AND I HAD PLANS FOR TODAY ON A BUSINESS TIP...AND THAT'S ALL OUT THE WINDOW.
And so then it all gets worse, cause instead of moving ahead into making $20 or $30 bucks today...I'm not, so I'm already getting behind for tomorrow and that's how it all unravels so quickly when you are on such a thin margin, where one cell phone adapter can change the whole direction of your life.

I think after two and a half years, people pretty much know what I am about and the passion, enthusiasm and energy I bring to the table.
And everyone who knows me, knows I have been trying to pull out of the day-to-day activism duties of attending every council meeting and blogging round the clock in between all the phone calls and emails. But I really can't jump off the treadmill. And it looks all fine and dandy when you see ZD on the TV or hear him on the radio or read a blog post...but the sausage factory needs to be shut down for unsafe operating conditions.
Is there a Councilmember out there who can help put me in touch with the right contacts/connections to help get something off the ground, so I can get out of chambers and back to real life???
Call Central Casting, tell 'em to book me as a stand-in. (ZD was SAG stand-in, before City Hall activism. Aks Peter Krause of "Dirty, Sexy, Money" and Six Feet Under. I saw him filming D,S,M in City Hall rotunda, last month. He knows "Zuma Dogg" from before I even bought my first knit ski cap.
I bumped into a guy last night, who knows a bunch of people in City Hall and actually had some of the CM's numbers in his cell phone. AND, he's a big time Hollywood producer. CALL THE GUY!!! TELL HIM TO GET ME SOME WORK FROM STAND IN TO STAR OF THE SHOW.
THAT WAY, YOU'LL GET ME OUT OF THE DAY TO DAY GRIND OF DAILY COUNCIL MEETINGS!!! (Hey folks, I know you want the free party to go on forever, but it's over. It has to be. This is madness. It's interfering with all aspects of my life. And my body cannot carry on in this state. So don't say, "Well gee ZD, if you are doing something else like that, then you are selling out, throwing in the towel, and that's what the CMs want." Really? Unless you are paying me $50 a day...go screw yourself. If I never attended another meeting, or blogged another post...I did enough, for now.
I know there is an idea I have for one, or more, non-profits in the City. Maybe a CM can put me in touch with one of them and have me help them with a project. Or have one of the CM offices just do the project themselves for their district. (I know some of them would even like to do it...they just get too tied up and never follow up.)

I used to hire, train and operate a market research staff for the biggest radio station in America (Z-100), then was Director of Charts for Billboard Magazine (and I oversaw 5 weekly trade publications.) Record companies and General Managers used to sneak me money out of their own pocket to consult them, cause they couldn't get me on as a "contracted consultant."

I think after over a year of Zuma Dogg blogging about the subprime, stock market, real estate market, inflation and the global economy...I have the historic perspective to be able to look back now and say, ALL THE SIGNS WERE THERE!!! THE WHOLE WORLD WAS SCREAMING ALL OF THIS. HOW ANYONE CAN SAY WE WERE NOT WARNED IS DISEASED, MENTALLY-ILL THINKING.
Here's why:
ZUMA DOGG ISSUED MASSIVE WARNINGS OVER THE PAST YEAR. BIG-BIG OUT ON A LIMB PREDICTIONS.
Thing like:
* The subprime market would trigger a U.S. recession starting in late '07/early '08.
* The credit derivatives market was gonna cause bigger problems than we have ever seen.
* Over the winter holidays, ZD said, the stock market is gonna have the worst opening for the year ever.
* Gas prices would be skyrocketing over the summer.
* The Fed would cause inflation by devaluing the dollar with massive rate cuts.
* It's much worse than the '80's economic crisis.
* Inflation would hit after all of these rate cuts.
* The stock market would sink to 10,500 before rising back to 13,000 the way the over opimistic dummies were prediciting. (And we saw that).
* It's the worst economic crisis since the depression.
* ZUMA DOGG BLOGGED THAT U.S. BANKS WOULD BE FALLING LIKE DOMINOES IN OCTOBER!!! (Sorry I was half a month early...I said it Winter '07.)
* 6 months ago, the day I returned to Los Angeles, I called into Doug's show on KABC and painted the exact picture we are living today.
The fact that I predicted that banks would be collapsing doesn't seem like anything risky to say now...but when I said it last year...most people thought I was Chicken Little crying that the sky was falling and I should call the Art Bell radio show, not Doug McIntryre.
BUT LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!

WELL IT HAS BEEN OVER A $100 all year, and $130 or more most of the time. (YOU CAN'T MAKE A PROFIT WHEN YOU EXPECTED $85 and it turned out to be $130.) AND not only that, but people have cut back on spending. AND DO YOU THINK WE HAVE HIT THE BOTTOM AND IT'S ABOUT TO START AN UPSWING?
HELL NO....
JUST TO BE CLEAR YOU DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND DUMMIES...
WE HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED TO SEEN THE EFFECTS YET!!!

But so many of you will say, "Oh no ZD, you are wrong....it's too late to pull out of the market now. It's gonna bounce back. Things aren't as bad as in the 80's. It's not like the depression. Just hang in there."

So far, things have bounced up and down alot. But it's about to be one bounce too late, and then it's REALLY too late. You may not like selling something you bought for $100 a share for $65. But you're really gonna hate selling it for .19 cents a share.
GOOD LUCK WHEN THOSE YEAR END REPORTS COME OUT! REMEMBER, THEY TOLD YOU EVERYTHING WAS FINE, CAUSE OIL WAS GOING TO BE $85 a barrel...$90 TOPS!!! But $100? NO WAY. YOU ARE A CONSPIRATORIAL NUTCASE IF YOU THOUGHT OIL WOULD BE OVER $100 a barrel and the biggest financial instututions in the world would be falling like a house of cards in the Santa Ana winds.
Is ZD a genius? Only if turning on CNBC and Bloomberg TV, listening to the experts, then not trying to combat their expertise -- or not wanting to TRY and discount their knowledge in an arrogant or pompus way makes me a genius then I guess so. For everything I've predicted, none of it was original thought. I'm not like Einstein running formulas and coming up with my own conclusions!!! I listened to people and repeated it. So I guess the ONE thing ZD is good at, is being able to listen to eight people in a deabte -- and be able to tell who "knows what time it is" the way Rainman can count toothpicks on the floor.

Here's why:
ZUMA DOGG ISSUED MASSIVE WARNINGS OVER THE PAST YEAR. BIG-BIG OUT ON A LIMB PREDICTIONS.
Thing like:
* The subprime market would trigger a U.S. recession starting in late '07/early '08.
* The credit derivatives market was gonna cause bigger problems than we have ever seen.
* Over the winter holidays, ZD said, the stock market is gonna have the worst opening for the year ever.
* Gas prices would be skyrocketing over the summer.
* The Fed would cause inflation by devaluing the dollar with massive rate cuts.
* It's much worse than the '80's economic crisis.
* Inflation would hit after all of these rate cuts.
* The stock market would sink to 10,500 before rising back to 13,000 the way the over opimistic dummies were prediciting. (And we saw that).
* It's the worst economic crisis since the depression.
* ZUMA DOGG BLOGGED THAT U.S. BANKS WOULD BE FALLING LIKE DOMINOES IN OCTOBER!!! (Sorry I was half a month early...I said it Winter '07.)
* 6 months ago, the day I returned to Los Angeles, I called into Doug's show on KABC and painted the exact picture we are living today.
The fact that I predicted that banks would be collapsing doesn't seem like anything risky to say now...but when I said it last year...most people thought I was Chicken Little crying that the sky was falling and I should call the Art Bell radio show, not Doug McIntryre.

GOOD LUCK WHEN THOSE YEAR END REPORTS COME OUT! REMEMBER, THEY TOLD YOU EVERYTHING WAS FINE, CAUSE OIL WAS GOING TO BE $85 a barrel...$90 TOPS!!! But $100? NO WAY. YOU ARE A CONSPIRATORIAL NUTCASE IF YOU THOUGHT OIL WOULD BE OVER $100 a barrel and the biggest financial instututions in the world would be falling like a house of cards in the Santa Ana winds.
Is ZD a genius? Only if turning on CNBC and Bloomberg TV, listening to the experts, then not trying to combat their expertise -- or not wanting to TRY and discount their knowledge in an arrogant or pompus way makes me a genius then I guess so. For everything I've predicted, none of it was original thought. I'm not like Einstein running formulas and coming up with my own conclusions!!! I listened to people and repeated it. So I guess the ONE thing ZD is good at, is being able to listen to eight people in a deabte -- and be able to tell who "knows what time it is" the way Rainman can count toothpicks on the floor.

FYI...
Thank you for your call. Councilmember Parks has begun a process
of looking into ALL non-profit leases in the 8th District to make
sure they comply with the pending City-wide policy for non-profit
lease agreements.
This is part of a broader effort to update the City's Basic
Financial Policy as it relates to non-profits and fee waivers.
[Hoooooooody hoooooooooo!]
This policy update includes:
1. Convention Center Fee Subsidies
2. Development Fee & Permit Waiver Policy
3. Special Event Waiver Policy
4. Non-Profit Lease Policy
The lease for SCOPE expired in 2002. They have been on a month-
to-month hold-over since the expiration date and are currently
paying NO rent to the City for use of the facility.
Our office has received numerous requests from other interests,
both commercial and non-profit, that are interested in leasing
or acquiring City properties in South Los Angeles.
An RFP to lease the property for rental or sale at fair market
value (estimated to be $1.6 million) will be issued shortly.
EXCEPT I ALREADY LET PARKS' OFFICE KNOW...they don't say what
this is REALLY about regarding SCOPE's lease. Yes, all of this
non-profit investigation will be going down...BUT THIS IS ABOUT
THE ALLEGATIONS THAT SCOPE IS USING THEIR FACILITY TO CAMPAIGN
FOR MARK RIDLEY-THOMAS!
So that's just how these politicians are. They don't just come
out and say things (although Parks made more direct allegations
in the Daily News on the matter, which is how I found out about
it. But then in his own statement, kinda goes sideways on his
reasoning. Yes, it's true that these non-profit leases need
looking into (along with the S.E. Fees and whatnot.
But they are using the "lease" as the reason, when it is the
"shadiness" that is the reason. So evict them on the lease,
but in a statement, you gotta let the people know why SCOPE was
the first and only one to go, so far.

The mayor is really showing his hand on this. Villaraiogsa is such a full of sh*t idiot...I really hope he laughs at his own press as much as even Rick Dees was laughing about the Villaraiogsa and his stupid, empty press-conference comments on how he has reduced traffic by 30%.
Hey Douchearagiosa...NO YOU DIDN'T. The problem Douchearaigosa keeps making, is he jumps out there like Mickey Mouse at Disneyland and tells everyone it's a wonderful day. DON'T SAY THE CITY IS THE SAFEST SINCE THE '50's. Don't say you reduced traffic by 30%. NO ONE BELIEVES IT! BECAUSE NO ONE IS FEELING THAT REDUCTION YOU DOUCHEBAG, DUMMY! L.A. Councilman Bernard Parks, mayor clashing over group's lease

The contentious county supervisor race between Councilman Bernard Parks and state Sen. Mark Ridley-Thomas spilled into city politics this week when Parks tried to evict a nonprofit group tied to Ridley-Thomas and Mayor Dummy Villaraigosa stepped in to block the move.
On Tuesday, Villaraigosa was forced into the fray - reluctantly, his aides said - after Parks had the city send a 60-day eviction notice to Strategic Concepts of Organizing and Policy Education, a nonprofit focused on community organizing and job training.
[No, he wasn't FORCED, he JUMPED in. If you say "forced", maybe you mean "forced by Mark Ridley-Allen-Ripple Thomas.]
Parks said SCOPE was using the old fire station at 1715 Florence Ave. in South Los Angeles to help the Ridley-Thomas campaign, which the group denies.
[I'm surprised they didn't openly admit it.]
SCOPE has had a virtually rent-free lease since 2000. The agreement was negotiated by Ridley-Thomas when he was a councilman. The lease converted to a month-to-month arrangement after the first lease expired in 2002.
SCOPE President Anthony Thigpenn, a close ally of Ridley-Thomas, has worked with the County Federation of Labor to raise and spend an estimated $4.5 million on advertisements in support of Ridley-Thomas' campaign.
Parks said he decided to cancel the lease after learning that Thigpenn was using the city building for Ridley-Thomas campaign activity.
"This is something that is totally inappropriate," Parks said. "I don't think that's why we give you a building, for you to set up for a candidate of your choice and run a campaign out of it."
[Villaraigosa diagrees. And how dare you speak out against this non-profit that helps people out of the goodness of their heart. Zuma Dogg heard this non-profit is going to endorse Parks, maybe. The fact that Mark gave them this sweetheart deal isn't going to factor into the decision.]
Ridley-Thomas spokesman Fred MacFarlane would not comment on the situation. [Why doesn't he comment on the situation by saying, "This is not true. We are not using this property as a campaign field office for Mark Ridely-Thomas." INSTEAD NO COMMENT??? How come he isn't calling Parks' claim outrageous?]
Parks said he wants to find a new tenant that would either pay the market rate or provide a more useful public service. SCOPE is one of 11 nonprofits in Parks' district that have $1 or free leases of city property. The councilman is re-evaluating all the leases, but SCOPE's is the only lease Parks sought to terminate. Villaraigosa has his own ties to SCOPE. Thigpenn was paid more than $21,000 for consulting during Villaraigosa's 2001 and 2005 campaigns for mayor, according to Ethics Commission filings.

"In all the buildings we've dealt with in five years, we've never had the Mayor's Office intercede or step into our issues," Parks said.
Now, the councilman and mayor appear headed for a showdown in the City Council. Parks said he plans to ask his fellow council members to order the lease canceled and Villaraigosa may not have the power to veto the council action.

L.A. Councilman Bernard Parks, mayor clashing over group's lease

The contentious county supervisor race between Councilman Bernard Parks and state Sen. Mark Ridley-Thomas spilled into city politics this week when Parks tried to evict a nonprofit group tied to Ridley-Thomas and Mayor Dummy Villaraigosa stepped in to block the move.
On Tuesday, Villaraigosa was forced into the fray - reluctantly, his aides said - after Parks had the city send a 60-day eviction notice to Strategic Concepts of Organizing and Policy Education, a nonprofit focused on community organizing and job training.
[No, he wasn't FORCED, he JUMPED in. If you say "forced", maybe you mean "forced by Mark Ridley-Allen-Ripple Thomas.]
Parks said SCOPE was using the old fire station at 1715 Florence Ave. in South Los Angeles to help the Ridley-Thomas campaign, which the group denies.

SCOPE has had a virtually rent-free lease since 2000. The agreement was negotiated by Ridley-Thomas when he was a councilman. The lease converted to a month-to-month arrangement after the first lease expired in 2002.
SCOPE President Anthony Thigpenn, a close ally of Ridley-Thomas, has worked with the County Federation of Labor to raise and spend an estimated $4.5 million on advertisements in support of Ridley-Thomas' campaign.
Parks said he decided to cancel the lease after learning that Thigpenn was using the city building for Ridley-Thomas campaign activity.
"This is something that is totally inappropriate," Parks said. "I don't think that's why we give you a building, for you to set up for a candidate of your choice and run a campaign out of it."
[Villaraigosa diagrees. And how dare you speak out against this non-profit that helps people out of the goodness of their heart. Zuma Dogg heard this non-profit is going to endorse Parks, maybe. The fact that Mark gave them this sweetheart deal isn't going to factor into the decision.]

Parks said he wants to find a new tenant that would either pay the market rate or provide a more useful public service. SCOPE is one of 11 nonprofits in Parks' district that have $1 or free leases of city property. The councilman is re-evaluating all the leases, but SCOPE's is the only lease Parks sought to terminate. Zuma Dogg Welcomes Robert Reich's Blog To LA Daily Blog Links!!!: What Wall Street Should Be Required to Do, to Get A Blank Check From Taxpayers

Edwards Deming, the forefather of "Methods for Management of Quality and Productivity." Well through my study of Deming's 14 points, one of the "disciples" ZD came across VERY early on, in the early '90's was Robert Reich. He is one of those guys, who over time, has proven to ZD time and time again that HE is the one guy on the talk show panel worth listening to. And since Deming has passed away (in '93), Bobby Boy is the main guy out there who (although he does not refer to Deming, or "teach" the stuff)...he's the guy who is right up there with ZD when it comes to applying this stuff.
AND HERE'S SOMETHING VERY GOOD ON THE $700,000,000 bail-out that you may enjoy. I have had Robert's blog on "google alert" since I started LA City News wire...but now, it's time to start featuring some more of it, given the situation.
What Wall Street Should Be Required to Do, to Get A Blank Check From Taxpayers
The frame has been set, the dye cast. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, presumably representing the Bush administration but indirectly representing Wall Street, and Fed Chief Ben Bernanke, want a blank check from Congress for $700 billion or possibly a trillion dollars or more to take bad debt off Wall Street’s balance sheets. Never before in the history of American capitalism has so much been asked of so many for (at least in the first instance) so few.Put yourself in the shoes of a member of Congress, including our two presidential candidates. The Treasury Secretary and Fed Chair have told you this is necessary to save the economy. If you don’t agree, you risk a meltdown of the entire global financial system. Your own constituents’ savings could go down with it. An election is six weeks away. Besides, in the last two days of trading, since rumors spread that the Treasury and the Fed were planning something of this sort, stock prices revived.
Now – quick -- what do you do? You have no choice but to say yes.
But you might also set some conditions on Wall Street.
The public doesn’t like a blank check. They think this whole bailout idea is nuts. They see fat cats on Wall Street who have raked in zillions for years, now extorting in effect $2,000 to $5,000 from every American family to make up for their own nonfeasance, malfeasance, greed, and just plain stupidity. Wall Street’s request for a blank check comes at the same time most of the public is worried about their jobs and declining wages, and having enough money to pay for gas and food and health insurance, meet their car payments and mortgage payments, and save for their retirement and childrens’ college education. And so the public is asking: Why should Wall Street get bailed out by me when I’m getting screwed?
So if you are a member of Congress, you just might be in a position to demand from Wall Street certain conditions in return for the blank check.
My five nominees:
1. The government (i.e. taxpayers) gets an equity stake in every Wall Street financial company proportional to the amount of bad debt that company shoves onto the public. So when and if Wall Street shares rise, taxpayers are rewarded for accepting so much risk.
2. Wall Street executives and directors of Wall Street firms relinquish their current stock options and this year’s other forms of compensation, and agree to future compensation linked to a rolling five-year average of firm profitability. Why should taxpayers feather their already amply-feathered nests?
3. All Wall Street executives immediately cease making campaign contributions to any candidate for public office in this election cycle or next, all Wall Street PACs be closed, and Wall Street lobbyists curtail their activities unless specifically asked for information by policymakers. Why should taxpayers finance Wall Street’s outsized political power – especially when that power is being exercised to get favorable terms from taxpayers?
4. Wall Street firms agree to comply with new regulations over disclosure, capital requirements, conflicts of interest, and market manipulation. The regulations will emerge in ninety days from a bi-partisan working group, to be convened immediately. After all, inadequate regulation and lack of oversight got us into this mess.
5. Wall Street agrees to give bankruptcy judges the authority to modify the terms of primary mortgages, so homeowners have a fighting chance to keep their homes. Why should distressed homeowners lose their homes when Wall Streeters receive taxpayer money that helps them keep their fancy ones?
Wall Streeters may not like these conditions. Well, you should tell them that the public doesn’t like the idea of bailing out Wall Street. So if Wall Street doesn’t accept these conditions, it doesn’t get the blank check.

Many of you who know me have been hearing about an idea I was hoping to pursue for myself to help stimulate Zuma Dogg's economic zone. However, as someone who doesn't even have gas money to drive out of this parking lot...maybe I have to shelve the idea of pulling this off myself.
AND, with the grim economic forecast for the U.S. and especially California, and double-especially Los Angeles (the epicenter of it all) -- Zuma Dogg wakes up every day and says to himself, "What's the answer? What is it going to take. What's an immediate measure. Something that can be done while we are waiting for Grand Avenue Project to totally re-vitalize the LA City economy. And time and time again, the same concept keeps coming out of the Batcomputer. And with the Holiday's coming up quickly, ZD has applied this concept to a specific, focused application that will be easy for everyone to understand:

But, with the economy and inflation and job market and people's financial situation being what it is and will be this holiday gist shopping season...Zuma Dogg predicts more and more people will not even be able to comfortably afford the X-mas shopping season, even if they stick to Target and Wal-Mart.

When you see all the stuff they sell at Venice Beach, a lot of it comes from the wholesale district downtown, located in the San Pedro/Wall area near City Hall. And great stuff it is. Whether you want a Led Zeppelin, 2pac, Barack Obama or Sarah Palin T-Shirt; jewelery, Hannah Montana backpacks (and Hannah Montana everything); hats, socks, shirts, posters, reggae/rasta stuff...ANYTHING THAT IS POPULAR AND IN MOST DEMAND...is all there.
So ZD wants to make use of all this un-used retail space with the "AVAILABLE" signs in the window all over the city by setting up these "economic development zones" in the "warm and fuzzy" guise of "$5.00 Gift Stores."
THEN, you staff the retail outlets with people from these non-profit programs that City Hall is tied in with (like the ones I've been complaining about.) So, if you got lemons, ZD wants to make a $5.00 Holiday Gift Store that can be operated by all the people who need jobs -- AND, the community gets a low priced shopping option where you can buy stuff for no more than $5.00.
(A LOT stuff can even be 2 for $5/3 for $5.) Belts, purses, apparrel, school supplies, staple goods.)
ZD has been saying if you are an entrepreneur, forget the Niemen-Marcus crowd and start catering to the underground economy/low-income crowd, that is getting bigger and bigger.
AND NOW, I think all can agree, we have a real crisis on our hands. Although the City can now easily do it theyselves, cause I just gave away the idea...I would like to help, too, cause I have a good feel for the items that should be stocked -- and want to help train the staff and people can see how some of this Deming stuff would come across in actual application. (I wouldn't be talking about Deming or trying to "teach" it...but just applying it to the situation. And people tend to like the environment so they try to do a good job, FOR THEMSELVES, because you have removed the barriers that rob them of dignity...and then you have a bunch of leaders excited about something besides a one-time fishing trip.)
HEY MAN, IT AIN'T LA LIVE OR GRAND AVENUE PROJECT...but it's something that the people of the community can do theyselves, for theyselves -- and the City can hopefully have a nice little experiment to point to as a success that they can point to and build upon.
I really don't know why I have such a bug up my ski-cap over this idea, but it's the same bug I got during other seminal moments in my life. So as someone who has seen how these types of predictions have unfolded in the past (like iPod would be the "next big thing/the biggest thing ever") when you still had to describe what it was. Or my prediction that rap music would be played on the radio, when I was told it NEVER would be played on the radio. Or like when I said in May 2007 that this thing called "subprime" was about to burst and sink the economy into a recession. AND, last holiday season, I told you we would be sitting here with banks collapsing THIS holiday season (I even said, starting in October). So sorry it started in September.

Whether you want a Led Zeppelin, 2pac, Barack Obama or Sarah Palin T-Shirt; jewelery, Hannah Montana backpacks (and Hannah Montana everything); hats, socks, shirts, posters, reggae/rasta stuff...ANYTHING THAT IS POPULAR AND IN MOST DEMAND...is all there.
So ZD wants to make use of all this un-used retail space with the "AVAILABLE" signs in the window all over the city by setting up these "economic development zones" in the "warm and fuzzy" guise of "$5.00 Gift Stores."
THEN, you staff the retail outlets with people from these non-profit programs that City Hall is tied in with (like the ones I've been complaining about.) So, if you got lemons, ZD wants to make a $5.00 Holiday Gift Store that can be operated by all the people who need jobs -- AND, the community gets a low priced shopping option where you can buy stuff for no more than $5.00.
(A LOT stuff can even be 2 for $5/3 for $5.) Belts, purses, apparrel, school supplies, staple goods.)
ZD has been saying if you are an entrepreneur, forget the Niemen-Marcus crowd and start catering to the underground economy/low-income crowd, that is getting bigger and bigger.
AND NOW, I think all can agree, we have a real crisis on our hands. Although the City can now easily do it theyselves, cause I just gave away the idea...I would like to help, too, cause I have a good feel for the items that should be stocked -- and want to help train the staff and people can see how some of this Deming stuff would come across in actual application. (I wouldn't be talking about Deming or trying to "teach" it...but just applying it to the situation. And people tend to like the environment so they try to do a good job, FOR THEMSELVES, because you have removed the barriers that rob them of dignity...and then you have a bunch of leaders excited about something besides a one-time fishing trip.)
HEY MAN, IT AIN'T LA LIVE OR GRAND AVENUE PROJECT...but it's something that the people of the community can do theyselves, for theyselves -- and the City can hopefully have a nice little experiment to point to as a success that they can point to and build upon.
I really don't know why I have such a bug up my ski-cap over this idea, but it's the same bug I got during other seminal moments in my life. So as someone who has seen how these types of predictions have unfolded in the past (like iPod would be the "next big thing/the biggest thing ever") when you still had to describe what it was. Or my prediction that rap music would be played on the radio, when I was told it NEVER would be played on the radio. Or like when I said in May 2007 that this thing called "subprime" was about to burst and sink the economy into a recession. AND, last holiday season, I told you we would be sitting here with banks collapsing THIS holiday season (I even said, starting in October). So sorry it started in September.
SO I JUST FEEL LIKE THIS IS THE DIRECTION TO TAKE: Start serving the low-income/underground economy BY the low-income/underground economy.

Zuma Dogg's Biggest YouTube Demographic: 55-64 Year Olds, Followed by 45-54 Year Olds (AND THEY VOTE!!!)
Zuma Dogg always felt he was providing entertainment for the 18-49 crowd, with emphasis on the younger skew of the demo. However, I was surprised when I checked the new "demographic" stats on my most recent YouTube (ZD's Political Rant).
Looks like I have a nice vieweship with the key upper demographic, who are more likely to vote. SCREW ROCK THE VOTE...ZD IS KING OF RETIRE THE VOTE!!! And they vote! I LOVE MY DEMOGRAPHICS, Y'ALL!!! (I know people lie about their age on YouTube...but I think there's some basic, overall validity to the way it pans out of the chart. Like, ZD's videos about City Hall politics and the elections is viewed more by 35-65 year olds than teenagers and young adults, who don't vote as much. And I know for a fact that City Hall is hearing strong feedback about ZD and what may happen if he runs for mayor. (Getting to be a lot more of, "Hey, you never know...he might have a chance" -- as opposed to the "laugh offs".) Imagine by March, when the City is in an economic shambles...it won't take quite as much to beat him as previously thought.
And to those who have followed ZD since day one at City Hall, and support what I do...let me tell you...the level of recognition THIS WEEKEND, surpassed the weekend before. I really AM feeling a tremendous amount of momentum on the streets. Part of it is because I went to Venice Beach on Friday and Saturday. And on both days, within minutes...ZD was approached by people who said, "Oh wow! I was hoping to meet you here, today. I've been walking around looking for you cause I know you hang out here alot." (I haven't been hanging around the boardwalk that much, so it was quite a coincidence that on the last two occasions, I was instantly greeted by people who were both hoping to bump into me. I wonder how many people I haven't been meeting since I'm not there that much anymore.)
These people were trying to convince me how "big" ZD is out there, and how people talk about him at the dinner tables and it's much bigger than I think. (As my regular readers know, I DO have an idea, more than ever recently...but when I bump into people who are so HELL BENT on convincing me (cause they see and know I'm having a tough time carrying on)...so they are trying to keep me inspired...and as my readers know...it works...
AND, other momentum coming starting Friday Night (hopefully) as Zuma Dogg's YouTube video blogging get taken to an slightly more elevated platform. As you know, I haven't been creating video about the Presidential election, because I like to cover the local stuff that goes uncovered.
BUT NOW, Zuma Dogg has an assignment: Watch the Presidential debate on Friday Night and try and have a video review with analysis posted by 8:30pm, following the debate. And then, the website will HOPEFULLY use my review on their website. (It's bigger than ZD's website, and 100% of you are 100% familiar with this local news outlet).
So hopefully, it looks like ZD will be having a much more expanded audience, by reaching people on this new website that will be reaching an (mostly) entirely different audience. (Cause a lot of these people don't have City TV 35, so they will be seeing me for the first time. THEY'RE GONNA LOVE ME!!!)

California: WHY IT'S OVER FOR CALFORNIA AND WHY "MAD MAX" IS ABOUT TO BECOME AN L.A.-BASED REALITY SHOW ON THE NIGHTLY TV NEWS

Some of you may have seen my post re-capping the conversation I had with someone who works for the Federal Government, who told me that California is MUCH WORSE OFF economically than the rest of the country. And you can basically put California in one category, and the other 49 states in another, for the most part. So if there is about to be a U.S. decline into depression and then Tijuana...it is not only due mostly to California, but the effect will be most dramatic here and will end up taking the rest of the apple cart.
You've heard all about how the $700,000,000 bail-out and how the U.S. is saying the bottom is about to fall out of the U.S., as we know it, if they do not take this action.
And we'll be dealing with the impact and backlash from that. And everyone is analyzing it on the radio and TV. And you are hearing all the best info from the top experts regarding what to expect regarding the bailout and the economy, itself.
BUT HERE'S SOMETHING THAT FLASHED ACROSS ZUMA DOGG'S CHRONIC INFUSED MIND THAT I HAVE NOT HEARD RE-CAPPED YET:
The California economy boom over these past several years has been due to the HOUSING boom. The economy was booming because all of these homes and construction projects were being built and that was generating the whole economy for the most part.
THAT IS WHY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT ALLOWED ALL OF THE LOW-INCOME WORKERS TO IMMIGRATE FROM MEXICO TO CALIFORNIA: The U.S. needed the cheap labor and all the "benefits" that keeping things secretly on the illegal, blind-eye-turning, underground wink-winks would provide!
So it was, "Let the good times roll" era, where the California socialist elected officials could shovel benefit money and entitlement money and raise taxes on the middle class, and put all kinds of bonds and taxes on the ballot -- and pave the way for all of these low-income residents (who won't be paying these fees and taxes because they are under this "middle class" income level) to keep electing these politicians who are putting these taxes and bonds on the ballot -- and keep re-electing the politicians who are using this "Robin Hood" legislation to help keep things fair for all of these poor people who cannot help it that they are not living the middle class dream of home-ownership.
BUT THE PARTY (AS IN POLITICAL PARTY, TOO) IS O-VER-VER-VER-VER-VER...OVER!
The housing market is over, all of this construction that was driving all of this economy is over. And now, you will have all these millions of these "low-income" and poverty level non-documented residents left over, here in California, who can no longer get the construction work they were getting.
So now, you are not only stuck with the illegals who currently the out-of-work criminals overtaking the streets -- BUT NOW, you will be stuck with millions of illegals who were at least here working hard, building your commercial projects in violation of every zoning law -- WHO WILL BE ADDING TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS, AND THE UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS (already out of money), then will be applying for more social services...IT'S GONNA GET REAL UGLY OUT THERE.
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING THAT THE GOVERNMENT ISN'T WARNING PEOPLE ABOUT THESE THINGS LIKE THE FANNIE/FREDDIE PROBLEM. VILLARAIOGSA SAYS HE DID NOT KNOW THE L.A. ECONOMY WOULD BE IN THIS TROUBLE.
OF COURSE THEY KNOW: SO DOES ZUMA DOGG AND ANYONE WHO THINKS AHEAD TO, "WHAT COMES NEXT".
In this case, if you have millions of illegals living here, that you allowed to live here cause you needed them for the housing boom -- and there were more jobs than could be filled at the time...and now you do not have those jobs...
WELL, you do the math. (Maybe someone can do it for Wendy, please. I would like her to know, too.)
BOTTOM LINE: The elected officials who use "entitlement money" to help keep themselves in office, will no longer be able to use that trick anymore...cause the money will have to be used to call in the National Guard and Zuma Dogg wants the rights for the "Mad Max" L.A.-based reality show that will be hitting the streets much sooner than I previously predicted.
